PIMM’S O’CLOCK FOR CAMELOT TEA PARTY TRIO
Three service users from a specialist dementia care nursing home in Plymouth were among more than 100 guests at a summer tea party.
The trio, from Freshfields in Agaton Road, which is run by Camelot Care, were treated to Pimms and lemonade at the Sir John Hunt Community Sports College in Plymouth.
The tea party food – which included a variety of mouth-watering cakes – was provided by the Royal Navy’s HMS Raleigh Defence Maritime Logistics School, which trains naval personnel in a number of disciplines including as chefs and stewards.
Entertainment was provided by a Royal Navy band.
Freshfields’ activities’ co-ordinator Paul Hutt said: “The Royal Navy usually do an event like this around Christmas time, but this year they have done a summer one, too.
“It was a lovely venue and a really nice occasion. Everyone enjoyed themselves and had a fantastic day.”
